The player promise
MapleTime is designed for an adult schedule with about two active hours per day. A useful session can mean a job advancement, completed quest chain, equipment upgrade, party-quest clear, boss unlock, or meaningful movement toward the next level.
Choose the next step
Open @guide for the Adventure desk. Active quests lead to direct objectives,
known turn-in locations, drop information, and precise reward blockers.
Scripted or conditional quest steps still use their normal NPC dialogue.
Use @jobadvance for your supported Explorer, Cygnus, or Aran route,
@weapons for eligible equipment ideas with known sources, and @warp for
comfortable hunting suggestions or a deliberate look at harder fields.
None of these tools grants an advancement, item, or shortcut around entry
requirements.
@adventure shows your progress and recent sessions. Only you can see it.
Earned EXP does not subtract EXP lost on death, and active time is an estimate.
Changing channels or visiting the Cash Shop keeps the same session.
EXP rate bands
| Character level | World EXP rate |
|---|---|
| 1-29 | 8x |
| 30-69 | 12x |
| 70-119 | 16x |
| 120-159 | 20x |
| 160+ | 24x |
The original v83 EXP requirements remain unchanged. Rate bands preserve early job, quest, and equipment pacing while softening the steeper late-game curve.

NX and the Cash Shop
The Cash Shop includes cosmetics and functional items; it is not a cosmetics-only catalog. Monsters can drop 100- and 250-NX cards, and the server can also redeem coupon codes that award NX. No NX acquisition rate is promised here.
NX is an in-game balance, not proof of a real-money payment. The public website does not provide a checkout or donation path.
Timing targets
These are goals rather than guarantees: first job in 15-30 minutes, level 30 in 1.5-2.5 active hours, level 70 in 6-10 hours, level 120 in 20-30 hours, and level 200 in roughly 90-130 hours. Class, route, party, and play style matter.
