Install the game
Download the Windows installer from the play guide and run it. Then open MapleTime from your Start menu.
No separate client or server settings are needed.
Read the download and unsigned-publisher warnings on the play page before continuing. Compare the download’s checksum, and do not disable antivirus protection or add exclusions.
Create your account
Open the account page, choose your game login, pick a password you do not use anywhere else, and verify your email. A login name is not a reservation for your character’s name.
Keep access to that verified inbox: account recovery uses it to prove ownership. If you still know the current password, you can manage your email on the account page. An unverified or inaccessible inbox cannot bypass the recovery requirements.
Your first two hours
- Complete the normal beginner tutorial and learn movement and starter skills.
- Reach the first job advancement rather than grinding far past it.
- Follow nearby quests and replace starter equipment from ordinary drops.
- Use
@guideafter advancement for a level-appropriate direction. - Enable
@partysearch onif you welcome party-finder invitations. - Finish with one visible achievement: a job, quest chain, useful upgrade, party clear, or boss prerequisite.
